Participants must follow these rules at all times, or risk immediate disqualification:
- No premade devices or components – external materials and components must be unrefined and unassembled (teams should be focused on creating, not refining)
- You are allowed to use your own material and resources, as long as they aren’t already a completed or partially-completed project
- Follow the policies of the SEAS facilities – mainly, this means cleaning up after yourself and not bringing food to any SEH classrooms or Lehman Auditorium
- Return all checked-out items to SEAS Hackathon staff – items not returned will be considered theft
- We recommend returning items as soon as you’re finished with them, to avoid crowding in the checkout area
- Abide by the GW Student Code of Conduct
- Be kind to others
If you have questions or concerns, please come to the equipment checkout table in SEH 1300.
